Right values provide the critical foundation for a GR8 Leader. It is easy to focus your attention primarily on results and forget that people create results. And, GR8 Leaders do not just choose any values, they choose transformational values. So, what does that mean? It means they choose values to remove the focus from them to others. They have values that consistently align with what is right and good. GR8 Leaders choose 6 critical values – self-governance, humility, sacrifice, freedom, valuing and developing people, and truth. The first five values are outstanding, but only when they rest on the solid foundation of truth.

Understanding structure helps you grasp that “structure demands behavior.”  For example, leaders who do not value people or develop people tend to focus on “ME” not “WE”.
